John Gets Drunk
December 12th, 2022Meekoo, the Yule Squirrel
December 12th, 2022
The days are getting longer now, hooray! Says little Meekoo as he climbs a tree The forest won’t seem quite as dark today The forest is where Meekoo likes to be When Yule begins, the winter starts to end And Meekoo knows that spring will be here soon A fact on which he knows he can depend As surely as the stars, the sun, the moon The moon is cold, the stars all twinkle pure The sun gives light and makes the springtime warm Of this and more young Meekoo can be sure As sure as cold and snow in winter’s storm Young Meekoo knows the hope the Yule can bring The hope of life revived in precious spring.

Limericks
December 6th, 2022Some of you may have noticed the fact that I have devolved from writing sonnets lately, to indulging in limerick writing. It’s probably just a phase.
Enjoy.
