Meekoo, the Yule Squirrel

Monday, December 12th, 2022
The days are getting longer now, hooray!
Says little Meekoo as he climbs a tree
The forest won’t seem quite as dark today
The forest is where Meekoo likes to be

When Yule begins, the winter starts to end
And Meekoo knows that spring will be here soon
A fact on which he knows he can depend
As surely as the stars, the sun, the moon

The moon is cold, the stars all twinkle pure
The sun gives light and makes the springtime warm
Of this and more young Meekoo can be sure
As sure as cold and snow in winter’s storm

Young Meekoo knows the hope the Yule can bring
The hope of life revived in precious spring.

Rhymes

Sunday, December 11th, 2022
There once was a man made of rhyme
Who faced such a difficult time
With limericks and more
That were left at his door
By drivers from Amazon Prime!

Love Limerick

Sunday, December 11th, 2022
I once held your hand in my own
True love wasn’t something I’d known
The warmth would suffice
Like a virtuous vice
Like love could be something we’d grown.

Santa Bitch

Tuesday, December 6th, 2022
At Christmas a young man named Mitch
Was given some coal and a switch
He’d asked for some porn
He cried out, forlorn:
“This sucks! Santa Claus is a Bitch!”
